I am from
I am from my church camp
Going there every summer making new friends
To the feeling of knowing your not alone in your struggle
Lastly to feeling like you know yourself when coming home
I am from my Caroline, Addy, and Kaydence
They allow me to be myself
And I never have to worry about them judging
They make me be who I want to be
I am from my dog
From seeing the dark brown to the light brown on him
I can cry to him and know he won't leave me
Coming home after a ruff day knowing he will always like me
I am from the music I listen to
From Zach Bryn to Sam Barber
They make me feel that they've gone through the same thing as me
To them making me believe in myself and that I can do anything
I am from my teachers
Not the ones that tear me down but the one that build me up
The ones that take the time to listen
And the ones that plays music
I am from volleyball
That gives me a place to reset
A place I go to, to forget everything
And to let my mind be free
I am from my guitar
To allow me to play what I am feeling
And to feel the scratch marks on the guitar
To allow me to feel what I am feeling
I am from pumpkin
The best time of year is here
Tasting it melting on my mouth
And smelling it everywhere I go
I am from volleyball
I can be Brave as a lion.
And The feel of getting a dig.
Lets me be confident
I am from my heart breaks
the pain hurt but
taught me how to let go
and know new thing will come
I am from my struggles
from the girls who bullied me
gave me strength
And made me who I am
