I consider myself a beginner writer and quite frankly speaking, don’t have much appreciation for my own writing. That may be because of the truly poor state of my written work or the inherent insecurity that comes with being an artist. Either way, I am grateful for this opportunity and have great respect for the arts, especially literature. This piece was simply something that sprung up in my mind and I think it is one of my better ones.
