play the music, turn it up loud, dance around, and drown out reality

Whispered words of loneliness,
Upon these barren pages I write.
I suppose I am not the one
To help you, heal you, or love you.
I gave you my heart and
You forsake my love, discarded it.
And now, I have lost your smile, forever.
My eyes are now a dull grey
No longer flash their brilliant blue
Without your sunshine upon my face.
The music I hear is only
A faint distant memory.
Once meaningful songs
Now sung with quiet emptiness
And whispered tears in my eyes.
Comfort is the cold tile of a shower
As hot water pours over my face
Washing away warm salty tears,
The sound of the water drowning out
My whimpers and soft cries.

A very sad poem :( But it is a good poem. Call me a fan of your works, cause I like your poetry.

I don't need a rose. I want a daisy you picked for my hair. I don't want some fancy box of chocolate. I want a pink frosting cookie you made just for me. Lets skip the upscale restaraunt and have a picnic in the park.
