Never Knowing
Room full of friends,
All there till the end,
Yet still I feel so alone,
Staying unknown.
I hide the truth
Behind a mask,
So no one knows about the past,
Or sees the real me.
My life is like a joke;
only, it’s not funny.
I usually try to rhyme
But that’s just sometimes.
Now I’m just filling the lines,
But, why all the lies?
Because I have to hide the truth,
I don’t like to complain,
I just hide the pain,
Or is it the shame?
No one will ever know.
Not even me.
We’re all just more players
In the game called life.
