Through with Her
I remember a girl
who broke my heart
stomped on it
and burned it to crisp
I gave it to her
Like th fool I was
to think
That she was for me
But you can't fall in love
with sirens pulling you in
I was told better
To find something new
Too bad that I was blind
It took time
To heal the wounds
In my heart
But the scars are still there
Somewhere in me
God told me
To pick up the pieces
Of my shattered life
Through the words
I found something inside me
To have the strength
To say that I don't need her
