I was drowned by your love
And trapped in your heart
I knew I'd love you forever
I learned that from the start
I said those three short words
Always followed by "No matter what"
I pressed my lips to yours
Heart pounding, eyes lightly shut
I had fallen completely for you
It all just felt so right
But our worlds came rushing down
Crushing us both that night
I have made an attempt to cope
With all my pain of a broken heart
But I will never stop loving you
I learned that from the start
