Sometimes people feel left out
We’re different than who our generation wants us to be
We like different music
We read different books
We do different things
Although we are happy with who we are, we have no one
No one to laugh at inside jokes with
No one to go to that concert with
No one unless we blend in
But who are we really if we don’t stand out?
What makes us less than the person who sticks to the status quo?
We are different
A generation of nerds and misfits
We will change the world
And we will make a difference.
