a gentle kiss
a heavy sigh
here we are
beneath the sky
the stars are out
they seem to dance
you look at me
with a fleeting glance
hold my hand
hold it tight
before you know it
i'll be out of sight
quiet whispers
racing hearts
hopeful young lovers
are what we are
is this real
or am i dreaming?
maybe i should
just start believing
impossible wishes
hopeful dreams
maybe everything
is not what it seems
so here we are
beneath the stars
don't you think
we're taking this too far?
sorrow thoughts
bitter tears
because after tomorrow
you won't be near
