Beneath the trees
Afraid but sheltered
If slightly
From the raging storm

Islands in the stream
We’ve got no place to go
Just content to drift along
As silently we dream

i can't quite name exactly what this poem has or said or what particular quality it has, but i just completely love it. i don't know. it's just...simple, sure. but at the same time, a perfect example on how, sometimes, less is more. (word wise)
