For those who suffer
In silence with pain and fear
Wanting to speak out
Against cruelness towards them
Unable to think of what to say
Stumbling over feelings
Tears stream down
Words lost in fear
Never heard
Afraid to speak
Or make a sound
Words held tight
In one's mind
Forever silent
Cry unheard

The author's comments:
When I was younger I often played alone and wouldn't talk. I was afraid I'd upset someone. Thinking about it now I'm still the same. Afraid to speak out for what I think is right so I hope this helps others learn to speak our for themselves.
