The loss of a sibling, the loss of a friend
The pain inside, not easy to comprehend.
A broken heart in need of mend,
To lose a sibling is to lose a friend.

Recovering from the feeling of pain,
A great accomplishment for one to gain,
For their death was not at all in vain,
But why I ask, all this pain?

Up in heaven the angels sing,
of all the joy their death will bring,
When God again takes them under his wing,
But a sorrowful song at the funeral we sing.

It seems that now life has no meaning,
A day alone you spend in cleaning,
As you get rid of that emotion leaning,
Because you know your life has meaning.

To lose a sibling is to lose a friend,
But you offer to heaven the prayers you'll send,
A helping hand that God will lend,
The loss of a sibling, the loss of a friend.

I looked at a picture of my little brother and got inspired.
