she cried

It was the first and last time
I saw her cry
I've seen her happy
I've seen her smiles
I've seen her laugh
I've seen her anger
I've seen her blush
her snoozing face
ever so cute
I watched her eat
as she spilled her milk
all over me
we laughed about it
I thought I knew all about her
but I've never seen her cry
It tore my heart to see her eyes bleeding tears
her raspberry lips quivering
All I could do was hug her
and tell her that I love her
but she cried even more
