Don't be Afraid
Though my Breath draws short,
Though my Body turns cold,
Though my Blood begins to freeze,
Though my Breath starts to mist,
I shall not hide before him,
I shall not run away,
I shall not try to deny him,
I shall not turn him away.
He is not one to be afraid of,
He is one to welcome.
His cloak,
Like a starless night,
Beckons me,
And answer his call I will.
He is the Angel of Death,
He shall show me the way.
