Happiness in July
A small girl skips along
the sidewalk
drops of sweat run down
her flustered cheeks
wearing a bright colored tank top
she pulls parks right next to her father
and sit impatiently waiting for the
show to start
Firecrackers, poppers, and glow sticks
light up the midnight sky
laughter, pops, and faint conversations
fill the parking lots
people of all ages come out
to share this exciting night
Cracks and screams fill the air
as the first firework shoots into the forocious sky
the little impatient girl quickly stands up
glow sticks in hand, these fireworks have just made her night
Its the best night of the year
