I do not need your excuses
your apologies, your lies.
My heart and its abuses.
I cannot endure to see your eyes.
I don't need these tears or this heavy heart.
I don't want this feeling of filth and lust.
I definatly do not miss the part
of feeling used, but it is a must
that I should move on and get over you.
You have held me back long enough.
Same with some of the things I do.
The terrain of your heart must be rough.
I am done with dwelling on the past.
My thoughts of you will not last.

This is a poem I wrote while trying to get over a boy I fell head over heels for. I realized I could not let what happened hold me back from anything.
