The Thoughts of a Heart on its Death Bed
The heart
  beating faster
 Racing
  as if it knows
  the clock is running out
 All time is spent
The finish line draws near, so black and cold
 No victory appears
for beyond the line, marked deep in stone
 no one knows
 untold stories lurk about
peircing light floods far and wide
 warmth spreads from sources unknown
in your mind screams No, back away
 but your heart lurches forward
 It's not time to go
 too late
 Your gone.
