Live Up The Goodbye

I'm livin up the goodbye
Before you try to end it
How can you not see
This is better
All you can do now is think
About how to get this
long friend back
I'll be gone once you figure it out
Never to come back
To your problems that
Always seem to be
More important than mine
I could say so many things
That you would disagree to
Only to have everyone else
Side with me
So I have to live up this goodbye
And make sure it lasts.
