Colors
White
 When there is no hue
at all, this is what remains:
a wave crashing in on itself.

 Yellow
 Screaming danger to your eyes
 in big bold letters.

 Orange
 There is no escaping the
 blaze within the phosphorescence.

 Red
 It crawls through your
 veins, only emerging
 when poked at by a
 cut, or maybe a thorn.

 Violet
 The only evidence of
 accident or abuse inflicted
by a stranger, a loved one.

 Blue
What color would the sky be
 if there were no oceans?
 Nothing but an achromatic
 atmosphere housing gravity.

 Green
 It was here before the
 suffocating factories
 took over the hedges
 of yesterday.

 Black
 An overload of brightness,
 a contradiction.
It blankets the sun to make
 endless dark.
