The Artist Hides
Saturated in self degredation,
The artist hides.
The realization of the truth that they have come to know as lies.
Seagulls drenched in gasoline,
dance wild and fly in patterns obscene.
Squawking tales of hell fire and mannerisms unclean.
Hiding from Summer's heat and frustration
Only wanting alleviation
of problems unseen.
They tell their children to keep things clean,
yet they sin without hesitation.
Learn to live before direction.
