A pool so still
It’s a mirror.

Birds twittering
With not a care.

A tranquil breeze
Across the waves.

A calm feeling
Inside your heart.

So many things,
And yet so few
Can truly find
Peace.

When my teacher read this one aloud, the class laughed, even though it is not meant to be humerous. I haven't shown it to anyone else since.
