An Orchestra

I hate music
She yells. He yells louder.
That is the music
Which seeps through my walls.

Doors slam,
A car starts.
The blade dances
Over porcelain skin

At six in the morning,
Three in the afternoon,
Ten at night
My music plays loud.

His fist makes contact,
She yelps in pain.
The blade dances
Over porcelain skin
In a red river of tears.

I don't need a friend who changes when I change and who nods when I nod; my shadow does that much better.
When childhood dies, its corpses are called adults and they enter society, one of the politer names of hell. That is why we dread children; even if we love them, they show us the state of our decay.

Just how I like my poems, darkly beautiful. meaningful

I really like this poem. It has so much emotion. I especially like the lines The blade dances/Over poercelain skin. I also like the repetition which brings emphasis to the theme of the poem

This is really pretty. This reminds me of the article I have to do in journalism class; about domestic violence.

The future is just the repeated past.

This is sad but it opens my eyes. I see what you are going through and my heart pittys for you. Poems are an excelent way to express your self and by you writing this poem you express your self very clearly.

This poem really paints a picture in my head on how you feel about this and what your experiencing. This is a great peice of work that i am sure alot of people can relate to. I like how you named all the times that it has happened and exactly what it sounds like to you. I like how you compared this to music and how you hate it.
