the spring rain falls down,
cold drops of wetness.
but for now, they dance.
hearts are broken,
dreams are shattered.
but for now they dance.
together they stand,
stronger than alone.
this is why they dance,
they don’t need anyone
-but each other.
this is why they dance.
the rain sprinkles and splats.
they splash and jump.
for now, they dance.
