Trapped in a Cage
I’m trapped in a cage with no lock or key.
No door to be opened so I can be free.
To fly above the meadows that I would love
To fly as a hawk, to be as beautiful as a dove
Let me fly through the sky above the clouds
Floating freely and never asking how
Can it be possible to soar through the sky?
Or are we prisoners in our own mind
Do we control our own freedom?
Do we create our own laws?
Are we able to pick ourselves up,
When we always seem to fall?
I’m trapped in a cage with no lock or key,
No door to open so I can be free.
