always learning the hard way
never listening to what you have to say
I take my ego and go my own way
I think I can make it on my own
but it’s you I soon phone
saying baby I need you
baby I want you
put my pride on the side
put my heart on the line
finally try to love
rise above the past
maybe in your open arms we’ll last
and you’ll finally set me free
