Hideous Game
Rain falls like a heart broken child
you dive to the floor
but you only wait for more
of the same torture
your emotion, like a gust of forgotten wind
two days before
when the rays of sun passing by a victorious face
and who saw you fall?
Only the unknown minds,
invisible to the light of day.
The other victim of the repeated crime
where the traitor
and betrayed battle for the best of time
in this game of life.
They push you to the ground
though when no one's around,
a slight concience comes to play
but not enough to swallow their pride
say "i'm done with the lies!"
so close your eyes and pray
to leave this all behind.
A crazed storm roaring by:
Sweep up the mistakes you made
with the wind blowin and your secrets in the shade
You can't control the hideous game
Sit down and breathe again
All you can do is hope for the end.
