The heart is confused

He makes me laugh
He picks on me
He makes fun when I sing
He's my buddy
My partner in crime
Is that all it's supposed to be in time?
one year brought us so close
are we supposed to be closer?
the only hint it
look in the future
Is he what I want
or what i need
He means everything
everything to me
His truck on the road,
I always double take
He takes me out
and even cooks me steak.
my breath is taken away
my heart has been stolen
i need answers
and only he can tell them.
