Pop Yet No Popcorn
Pop, pop, pop, yet no popcorn,
Sip, sip, sip, yet no drink,
Inject, inject, inject, yet no vaccine,
Inhale, inhale, inhale, yet no sweet aroma.
Life is ruff, times are tuff,
Things seem hopelessly empty.
Pills and drug deals,
Become your permanent shadow.
Where is happiness, you ask yourself,
Where is contentment?
In the pills and meds your doctor sells,
For so called “relaxation”.
