We are men
And we go to war
And There are sergeants who don’t come home
There are Captains whose faith is lost
There are Privates who have never seen death
And there are children who end their lives
And why do we go to war because we are men
And we want the things others hold
We see the planes crash
And the people die
And we still go to war
Because we are men and we want
We want the oil
We want the weapons
We want the land
But we do not need
But still we go to war
Because we are men
