Glaring at the reflection
Never quite good enough
Always more to lose
To gain that perfect image
The mirror masters in trickery
Distorting ones picture
It’s a hoax on the mind
Just plain tomfoolery
Leaving the reflection and its companion
Lost in a mist of confidence
Unaware of the truth
Unaware of the deceiving mirror
