It took me years to find out who
would love a girl like me
Then i found someone for me
true it couldn't be
he can't love me
it isn't true
no way
not you
I loved him dear
but he left
since then
i haven't slept
for me love is lost
but for you
i know
its something new
i will never forget
how my heart was frost
i'll remember when
my love was lost
