My Grandpa was a great person
He liked to be in the kitchen
To have 3-4 helpings of food
The TV room was another place
My Grandpa liked to be
He would always say, “Bang! Bang!”
To get a smile out of me
But now the place I see ye
Is not in the kitchen or by the TV,
It is in his final resting place, a Connecticut Cemetery
“Bang! Bang!”
Grandpa, I truly love thee

I wrote this in seventh grade, about three years after my grandpa had passed away
