Moving Forwards

Forward he goes,
The dust behind him a trail of smoke
Forward he goes, as
the wind blows
he sees what?
But continues, forwards again
I watch from behind,
my presence enveloping
him.
A ray of light shines through
the open hatch
shivering a ray,
uncertainty in its appearence.
My confidence
turns on me,
and he is gone.
