At War
I teased my head
 With short bouts of sleep
 In places with out bed
But I knew things were steep

 My eyes were drooping
 My ears were sore
 My hair was looping
 My clothes threadbare with wore

 Driving through towns
 Without population
I could describe with many nouns
 What was the governments creation?

I traveled up in search of people
I hoped that I'd find food
But all I found was an abandoned steeple
Why was the government so cruel?

In the end they found me
And brought me back to prison
And told me that I'd no longer be
Although I was dead, my spirits were risen
