Damaged
I am damaged, can’t you see?
Someone ripped my heart from my sleeve.
Now it’s sitting in front of me in pieces.
Who will be there to pick up the pieces?
Not you!
Because you ripped by heart apart,
Lied to me from the very start.
I put all my faith in you,
and soon I became the fool.
You took me as a blank canvas.
Free of any pain, numb,
and played with me, like a toy.
You were one sick, demented little boy.
But now I’ll collect my damaged soul,
Knowing one day, I will be whole.
Take back everything you took from me.
Go into the light and now, I can see.
