Soaking Up The Sun

i lay here
tanning in the sun
then i run around
and have some fun
it's so warm outside
it feels like summer
and when it's gone
it's such a bummer
i sit down
then jump up again
when i play hide-an-seek
i only count to ten
when the day is over
and the sun goes down
if you look at my face
you'll see a frown
but when i got to bed
and wake up once more
i know the sun
will be there for sure
