I Loved You
I said I loved you
 Last night
 It took all my courage
 I had to fight
 The butterflies forming
 I told them to shush
 That I really meant it
And this had to be enough
 But you didn’t look
 At me the way
 I wanted I prayed
 You glared at me
 Things always ended this way
Your worthless , your ugly , your stupid
 It’s true
 Don’t try to deny
 Who would want you?
 I blinked back the tears
 Forming inside
Why was I so silly to even try?
