Where I Belong
You held my hand throughout the way
I trusted you with all my heart
You promised me our love would stay
I took for granted we’d never be apart
You told me it was honest and true
And that I had nothing to worry about
I didn’t know better then to believe you
Everything else I could do without
They said you were full of lies
And that I should be careful with you
But of course all of this you denied
I never dreamed it would be true
Until that day they made me open my eyes
And I saw what I thought couldn’t be
I could finally see through all the lies
And realized you never loved me
So we wasted all that time
On words that meant nothing at all
You said it was just one time
But its over now, for you I’m not gonna fall
Now that everything’s said and done
And all my love for you is gone
Thanks to you a better chapter has begun
Cause now I’ve found where I belong
