alone on the fallen leaves
dead and browning
crumbling, rotting away
the sun dims to the mountains
leaving our world behind
falling, fluttering like bird feathers
the stir takes them away
scattering to the sky
trees silhouetted black against blue
arching away

I want a place all to myself that I can't share that's just as beautiful as I imagined it to be.
