hold your tears my pretty one
dry your eyes little young one
stop your quivering jaw
love has left,
it had beten and abused you,
but it has gone

hush dear, you are safe,
pick up the peices of your heart
and cradle them close,
poor thing, these tears wont help,
love wont hurt you any more

O' child, be wary,
your egerness to forget may cloud your jugment
we both know these fears well,
afraid of pain,
of shame,
afraid to to bare the peiced together remains that is your heart

peace child do not fear,
love will be wary if you are too

I agree with Fayrouz, the O' Child was a great touch to this poem. I love this, please continue to write more!

this was very heart touching! I imagined a little girl with broken glass in her bleeding hand....the O'child gives it a classy, motherly kind of feel that's almost safe and comforting. love it :)
