Rise Above MAG
I'm at the top of a mountain called Sorrow
 signaling the heavens with smoke
 a cry for salvation
 give me a sign that screams out hope
 you're as foggy as tomorrow
 the road forks;
 and I don't know where to go
  
 My life is quite a joke
 and the punchline is
 … at the end of the rope
 
 Dangling in chains; they bind me here
 no locks, no keys, just a mix
 of vodka and fear
 reminiscing the lives I've lived for years
 wondering which was most sincere
 
 I get on my knees and cry
 silent tears that beg the question why,
 now that I've found something to hold onto,
 a reason that I need to come true,
 why can't I move?
 what is it am I waiting to prove?
 
 Raindrops won't fail to kiss this face
 stars won't dare leave their place
 so I stand up
 tall and strong like the mountain
 the smoke is a symbol of my pain
 rising above from these rough hands
 I hold my stance
 
 Though I falter
 I will not fall
 
 The moon shines bright
 lowering the tides
 the breeze calms
 I think I hear an answer
 my heart warms
 
 the wind whispers,
 you'll go far
 you'll get far
 from where you think you are …
