I thought he was perfect,
With deep blue eyes
And a perfect smile.

Then he snapped my heart
Down to the core.

Now my only memories
Of him are what-ifs and
Remember-whens.

If only he hadn’t murdered
My heart, then maybe,
I’d remember him better.
