Swimming in Rivers

beautiful blue
with dark running depths
full of mysteries and unforgiving water
when i was young i learned to swim
so that if i fell in i would be able to escape it's watery depths
i loved swimming,
it made me feel pwerful and strong
but now i always feel weak
and i'm afraid of the rivers i once loved
afraid i'll be to weak to keep myself afloat
and now i dont trust myself
what if i go in and sink to the botem,
not because i cant swim
but cause i dont want to?
