The Wind
She cradles the world,
 Caressing the clouds
 Moving them on their way
 Like a fretting mother.

 On hot summer days,
 She sneaks up behind you
 And blows across your neck
 Giggling through the trees.

 She tosses her colors
 Dancing among the leaves,
 Pulling at you to join
 To share her joy

 But beware upsetting Her
 Quite the temper has She
 Partners with Her brother
 Smashing houses, drowning

 Her tantrums done,
 She whispers against ears
 Apologizing and chastising
 Sliding across the sky
