If Words Could Measure Love
Even though it isn’t clearly displayed
There is a piece of you in everything I do
It was born into me, races through my veins
I look in the mirror trying to find myself
As well as part of you in me
I strive to fit your image
You’ve created the best parts of me
You have been unfailing in your love
I can only wish to be able to love that much
No words of gratefulness could suffice
What you have done for me is beyond thanks
It is because of you I am who I am today
Every night I pray thanking God for you
You are the biggest blessing in my life
Even if I do not show it as often as I might
You are the balance between love and wisdom
You are the teacher who devotes her years to teach
These life lessons will never be forgotten by me
This is the best way I can express my love for you
Though no number of words could ever amount to it
The love from a daughter to her mother is immeasurable
