I am a Mother
I am a mother

 My daughter is my life
 My husband is my love
 My dog is my energy
 My house is my kingdom
 My garden is my art

 I am a mother

 My work is endless
That seems to go on and on
 Sometimes
When I start to fall asleep
 I wonder
What my life would be like
 If I had no bills
 If I had money
 No children to tend to
 A big house
 Just me and myself
 But then I think
I just erased everything in my life
That I’ve ever been sure about
 Therefore
 My family is forever
 And that will never change

 I am a mother
