I am a secret.
Some know what I am
Others don’t.
I am a secret.
I range from friends to jam
But don’t tell me.
I am a secret.
I prefer to remain that way
For if everyone knows me
Then I’m not a secret.
I’m a secret.
I can be a cat’s name
Or a password on e-mail.
I’m a secret.
I can be both bad and good
But I can’t control it.
I am a secret.
It’s best not to have me
For I drive wedges in relationships.
I am a secret.
When I am getting ready to be told
I put my finger to my lips and say:
Shhh!
