Waiting for you

Time trickles by slowly, and you must learn to be patient. Love is slow to come but spectacular when it arrives.
There are many sayings I hope come true, but even if they don't, I'm still here waiting for you.
So I'm sitting here, thinking to myself, What's the rush? And still, contradicting questions linger, Why not yet?
People are people, nobody's perfect, we've all learned that by now. Everybody screws up.
