Getting out the Word

If my words touch one heart
I will have lived not in vain
If my thoughts started something
Than I am not to blame
I just spoke the truth
Against your many lies
How the public takes it
Is not mine to surmise
If one person reads it
My life was not wasted
If one person is saved
My life I have tasted
If my book never leaves the shelf
But my words move by lips
I have lived for the body
And have wandered its quick
If you hate my words
I will know they were true
I will have lived for a purpose
And that is to stop you
