Now that it’s over
Late last night
I held you in my arms
My grasp was tight
You head on my shoulder
The last thing I wanted to do
Was let you go
The sound of your voice
Perfect, clear as the black sky
Just how I remember it
Your eyes danced
Gleaming green fire
Your face
Pale and beautiful
I felt dizzy
Saying your name seems so strange
Like it shouldn’t be real
But it is
then
I woke up
Painfully alone
Dream over
