My sandals crunch
Against the speckled rocks
The turquoise water
Tickles my feet
As I step closer to the creek
Dragonflies dance around me
In the space I have
They make it peaceful
Theres motion all around me
The fish joyfully bounce
Out of the flowing stream
As the wind blows
My hair behind my ears
It feels good on my forehead
It drys the sweat
On this hot
Summer day
I slip off my sandals
And splash into the
Shore of the stream
It fells as if
I had just drifted
Into heaven
It’s the most delightful day
I have experienced
